Note: On Sept. 27 the Bluffton American Legion held a flag pole dedication ceremony at the townhall.
When I looked out the window of my Town Hall office and saw the flag, my eyes teared up. I did not know at the time where it came from but was very grateful and appreciative to see it.
We are warning all of our customers of a payment scam being conducted via phone in various areas of our service territory. We continue to hear reports that customers are receiving calls threatening to shut off their power if they don't make an immediate payment over the phone with a money card. This is a scam and people are using our name illegally. The people making these calls are not from AEP Ohio.
The Bluffton and Pandora Police Departments would like to thank all of those that came out and supported our National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 5th. It was a fun night for all involved and a pleasure spending the evening with people from the local communities.
We would also like to thank all of the businesses and other groups that supported the event through monetary, food donation, and volunteer help. Without your assistance none of this would have been possible and we would like to acknowledge each of you that helped.
