Bluffton Family Recreation in cooperation with St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, announced this winter’s Keeping Active six-week program of free activities.
Bluffton Family Recreation will hold a Columbus Crew SC winter camp for youth ages 6 to 18 on Monday, Feb. 15. The camp takes place at BFR, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Joseph Beagle, BFR director, said, “Crew SC winter camps series focus on player development through a core foundation of soccer skills in a challenging and fun learning environment. Each camper is sure to walk away with a positive experience and high quality training from the only professional soccer club in the region.”
There's plenty of indoor and outdoor soccer action planned for youth through adults this year at Bluffton Family Recreation. Here's a sidelines photo of an Ottawa team in a Saturday morning indoor match.
Hydration
• Often overlooked, hydration is a key component in maintaining soft tissue health. Staying hydrated keeps the tissues pliable and more resilient to external factors. It also improves the quality of the fluid in your joints.
Sleep
• Sleep is vital in allowing our bodies to recover and regenerate tissue and a lack of sleep adversely affects soft tissue health.
