Garth L. Lugibihl, 61, passed away May 15, 2025 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. Garth was born July 13, 1963 in Bluffton to the late Gordon and Ruby (Lehman) Lugibihl.
Garth was a 1981 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School. He was a life-long dairy farmer and was a member of Grace Mennonite Church in Pandora. Garth enjoyed cooking, canning and smoking meats.
Survivors include a brother, Bruce Lugibihl of Pandora; a sister, Paula J. Lugibihl of Bluffton and numerous cousins, neighbors and friends.
Jane M. Shaw, 69, passed away May 10, 2025, at The Ohio State Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital.
Jane was born November 9, 1955 in Bluffton to Dwight and Clarabeth (Diller) Bixel who preceded her in death. On August 9, 1975 she married Steve Shaw who survives.
Angel M. Langhals, 54, passed away April 30, 2025, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Angel was born February 21, 1971 in Lima to David Jolliff and Cathy (Campbell) Stuber who survive. On August 11, 1990 she married Brian Langhals who survives.
Floyd A. Young, 77, passed away April 26, 2025, at his home. Floyd was born September 18, 1947 in Tuscon, Arizona to Virgil and Marjorie (Knapp) Young who preceded him in death. On April 22, 1972 he married Drue (Ambrose) Young who survives.
Floyd graduated high school in New Jersey before completing his apprenticeship through the Professional Golf Association (PGA). Floyd spent time in Germany and Japan, between 1967 and 1969, working at different golf courses, playing and perfecting his game. In 1969, he came back to the states where he turned professional and worked at the PGA National in Florida during the winter months. In 1970, he moved to Akron, Ohio and was hired at the Firestone Country Club where he worked as an assistant to Bobby Nickels from 1970 to 1976. During that time, he caddied for Jack Nicklaus during his PGA win in 1971. After moving to Cambridge, Ohio in 1975, he was hired at the Cambridge Country Club as the Head Pro from 1975 to 1989. He played in countless Pro Am Tournaments during this time.
Kenneth Eugene Mast, 99, of Crystal River, FL passed away April 10, 2025, in Lecanto. He was born on February 2, 1926, to Abraham and Esther Mast in Sugar Creek, OH.
Kenneth and family learned to sing and dance in their early years and were featured on the “Major Bowes Original Amateur Hour Radio Show.” He graduated from Sugar Creek High School, OH then joined the US Navy where he served during WWII in Hawaii. During his service, Kenneth enjoyed playing on the basketball team and entertaining the troops with music.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the First Mennonite Church of Bluffton with Pastor Phil Yoder to officiate the service. Visitation will take place from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the church.
