The Thanksgiving week schedule at Bluffton Schools includes:

Monday, November 22

  • K-5 and Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences, 5-8 p.m. 
  • High School Parent Teacher conferences 5-8 p.m. Call 419-358-7941 if you want a conference.

Tuesday, November 23

  • K-5 and Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • No School - Elementary and Middle School
  • High School Parent Teacher conferences 5-8 p.m. Call 419-358-7941 if you want a conference.

November 24-26, No School K-12 – Thanksgiving Vacation

Bluffton area businesses are hosting the following holiday season events and workshops.

Blended Roots, 246 Cherry St, has announced two holiday craft workshops: 6-8 p.m. on December 2: Tomato Cage Christmas Tree workshop, $73 + tax. Participants must purchase a ticket in advance (available in store or at www.blended-roots.square.site.) Noon-2 p.m. on December 11: Kids Candy Cane Wreath, $10 + tax. Advance ticket not required.

The Bluffton Police Department and Jazzercize Bluffton have teamed up for the Cruising with a Claus toy drive. Both organizations are collecting new unwrapped toys for distribution by the Bluffton Community Assistance Corporation on the following dates:

4 p.m. November 27: Prior to the Blaze of Lights parade at Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St.

9 a.m.-noon December 4 at Bluffton Town Hall.

6-9 p.m. December 8 in front of Greenhorn restaurant, 112 Vine St.

Bath Township Fire Department responded to a report of a mobile home on fire at 2145 N. Dixie Hwy. Lot #30, Lima, Ohio, in Bath Township at 11:12 A.M. on November 18.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the mobile home fully involved with the next-door mobile home also involved.
