The following highway construction is scheduled to occur within Allen County this week. Work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, it will take place during daytime hours.

INTERSTATE 75 THROUGH ALLEN COUNTY
Interstate 75 between the Stewart Road overpass and Napoleon Road, between the city of Lima and the village of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane in both directions for a pavement resurfacing project.

Bluffton council will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m., Wedneday, July 31, in the town hall. The meeting is called to discuss personnel.

Former alley transforms into attract green space

Denise Fett provided the Icon with photos of recent work on the former Presbyterian alley at 120 N. Main St. Here’s the story behind the project.

After a one-and-a-half years in planning, the former Bluffton Presbyterian Church alley is becoming an attractive outdoor meeting place downtown.

The alley, closed to vehicle traffic for many years, fell into disrepair over the years.

The following Bluffton council committee meetings and related meetings are scheuled in July and August. All meetings are in the town hall.
