Flag sponsorships assist the club's community service projects

The S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club invites viewers to be a 2019 Main Street flag sponsor, according to Duane Bollenbacher of the club.

The purchase of flags, a $25 per flag, is open to businesses, organizations, or to individuals.

Bollenbacher said that sponsors may name someone that you wish to honor or memorialize with each flag sponorship.

All proceeds from the sponsorship of flags help the S.H.A.N.N.O.N. Service Club in its quest to make Bluffton a better community for its children, its elderly, its needy families, and all the citizens of Bluffton.

Several committee meetings are on the Bluffton council schedule for the next two weeks. Those follow:

Street Committee - Thursday, June 27, at 5:30 p.m.
Personnel Committee - Wednesday, July 3, at noon
Council Meeting - Monday, July 8,  at 7 p.m.
