• Jeanne's Kitchen on Vine Street will hold an "end of summer cook-out" on Saturday, Aug. 24.
“We will serve dinner on Saturday night instead of Friday. Smoke Master Mark Bedell will be grilling ribs, chicken, sausage, and pulled pork. We will have cole slaw, baked beans and corn on the cob,” Jeanne Previte told The Icon.
“Dinner hours are 5-7:30 p.m. No reservation is necessary. We hope to be outside and inside,” she added.
Ohio is changing how it evaluates and communicates the academic performance of its schools and districts.
Schools and districts will no longer receive labels like “Excellent” or “Continuous Improvement.” In its place, they will receive letter grades on several measures in the same way a student receives grades for his or her classes.
