Small House Bluffton Design/Build announces an open house Sunday, July 28, from  2 to 4 p.m. at 207 N. Lawn Ave., Bluffton, site of the contractor’s first construction project.

The house is designed with improved energy efficiency, coupled with smaller living spaces, among other “green” building practices.

BFR Sports and Fitness is accepting registrations for two early August events, according to Carole Enneking, director.

Last Adventure Camp  Aug. 1
Children ages 4-6 years are invited to register for this summer's final pre-school camp held Thursday, Aug. 1. The theme for the day is Disney characters. Activities, crafts and snack will tie with the theme.

Remember drive in movies? Well, they are gone, but the next best thing is Lightning Bug Theatre and it's coming to Bluffton on Thursday, July 25.

Jerry Lewis’ McDonald's and Superior Federal Credit Union will provide a free "Lighting Bug Theatre" in Bluffton. 

A Disney Pixar movie (G) will be shown on Vine Street at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.).  Click here for the name of the movie.

Vine will be blocked off from Main to the alley behind the businesses.

The Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a basket raffle now through Monday, July 29, with all the proceeds benefiting the Northwest Ohio Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

The Auxiliary will raffle off 20 baskets and these are all on display in the front lobby of the Bluffton Hospital. The baskets retail in value from $50 to $320. Tickets are $1 per chance.  Some of the items include Cincinnati Reds Tickets, Columbus Crew tickets, area gift cards, pampering baskets, and different themed baskets.

The Lima-Allen County Regional Planning Commission invites Icon viewers to provide opinions on how its tax money should be spent as it relates to bike and pedestrian facilities in the county. A survey is attached at the bottom of this story.
