Bluffton's annual family-oriented spring arts and crafts show is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 12, in downtown Bluffton. The 41st annual show, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, offers several family-oriented activities.
Over 60 craft and business booth displays will line Main Street Bluffton from the post office to the town hall. Craft displays range from jewelry, yard art, paintings, sand art for kids, antiques, plants and rugs.

Fortman Insurance Services, Main Street, Bluffton, will host a Medicare educational seminar at the Bluffton Senior Center at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 19.
"The event will cover areas such as eligibility, products enrollment and times to apply," said Branden Fortman, Bluffton office manager. "It is just a basic overview of Medicare in general."
She and Kathy Green, a specialist in medical insurance and "Medicare-eligible" products, will both lead the seminar.
A summer fundraiser by Bluffton Diamond Sports will provide 26 raffle drawings in June where participants could win anywhere from $25 or $50.

Raffle tickets are available at $10 each. Each ticket purchased is good for cash drawings every Monday through Saturday for the month of June, making 26 drawings. There are no drawings on Sundays. The prize value of each day is listed on each ticket. Each ticket has the ability to be a multiple winner through the entire month.
American flags are again waving in the wind on Main Street, Bluffton, for this summer 2012. The S.H.A.N.N.O.N. (Sharing Hopes And Nourishing Needs Of Neighbors) Service Club of Bluffton, in conjunction with the Village of Bluffton and the American Legion, invites persons to sponsor a flag.
On Saturday May 12, letter carriers in Bluffton and Beaverdam
will participate in the Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
The nationwide food drive is the largest one day food collection in the
country filling food pantries and food banks. It is easy to help and
participate. Just collect and bag non-perishable food items or paper
products and place by your mailbox or bring them to the Post Office.
Please do not include expired items or items in glass containers.
