Bluffton Public Library will be closed Monday, February 21, in observance of Presidents' Day.

The winter weather forced changes in the Bluffton school calendar. According to Greg Denecker, superintendent, the school has used its three cancellation days. It may need to make up two days.

Monday, Feb. 21, President's Day, originally a no-school day, will now be a school in-session day.

Denecker said that the Ohio legislature may act this month on extending from three to five the number of weather cancellation days allowed this year, because of this year's unusual weather patterns.

The Bluffton Sportsmen's Club announces that it has launched a website and that the club is also on Facebook, according to Ryan Motter, club vice president.

Persons interested in checking out the website go to: www.blufftonsportsmensclub.com. Persons may also reach the club on Facebook at Bluffton Community Sportsmen's Club.

The website is very informative. It includes the condition of both the Buckeye and National Quarry plus activities of the club.

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce encourages community members, businesses and organizations to participate in Stratton Greenhouses' annual downtown summer flowerpot beautification program this summer.

"Who doesn't want a warm pie after a winter like this?" said Julie Stratton, director of marketing and public relations at Maple Crest.
