The visiting Bluffton High School girls tennis team lost 4-1 to Upper Sandusky 
Thursday evening, September 22.

The Pirate record dropped to 3-11 with the defeat.

Junior Brooke Camper posted the lone Pirate win at first singles by rallying to win a three-set battle. Camper beat senior Lauren Schoenberger 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.

The sophomore duo of Brooklyn Moser and Kaleigh Coffman lost a tough match at second doubles 6-4, 7-6 (9-7 tiebreaker).

The visiting Bluffton varsity volleyball team lost in straight sets to Crestview Thursday night in a Northwest Conference battle between two of the league leaders.

The 25-10, 25-15, 25-13 loss dropped the Bluffton record to 9-3 and 2-1 in the NWC. Crestview improved to 7-5 and 4-0 in NWC play with the victory.

The Pandora -Gilboa High School football team traveled to Vanlue on Friday night September 23,to take on the Wildcats in Blanchard Valley Conference action. P-G flew out to a commanding 35-0 lead after just one quarter of play on their way to an easy 49-6 win.

The Bluffton High School varsity volleyball team swept local rival Ada in straight sets Tuesday night, September 20, in Northwest Conference action.

The 25-16, 25-10, 25-16 win improved the Bluffton record to 9-2 and 2-0 in the NWC. Ada dropped to 9-6 overall and 1-3 in NWC play with the loss.

Ayla Grandey led the Pirates with 16 kills. Kendall Stackhouse contributed nine kills. Morgan Fruchey and Gracie Yarnell added seven kills apiece.

The Bluffton High School girls soccer team dominated visiting local league rival Allen East in a Northwest Conference match Tuesday evening, September 20.

The win upped the Pirate record to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in NWC play, while the Mustang girls fell to 5-4-1 and 0-3 in NWC play with the defeat.

The game was scoreless until the 16th minute when Pirate Sami Scoles scored on a pass from Aubrey Burkholder.

Marley Kindle then netted a goal on a feed from Jasi Crawfis. An AE own goal extended the lead to 3-0.

The Pirate record dropped to 3-9 with the loss. SM improved to 8-5 after the win.

Junior Brooke Camper posted the only Pirate win at first singles. She defeated SM senior Charley Spencer 6-1, 6-1.

The Roughriders won the other four matches in straight sets.

Bluffton visits Upper Sandusky on Thursday, Sept. 22.
