The host Bluffton volleyball team swept county rival Lima Central Catholic to record their fifth consecutive win Tuesday night.

The Pirate girls improved to 7-2 with the 25-20, 25-15, 25-16 non-league victory.

Freshman Ayla Grandey topped the Pirate hit parade with 11 kills.

Senior middle hitter Kylie Stackhouse contributed 10 kills, six aces and two blocks.

Bluffton senior setter Skyler Scoles passed out 30 assists.

Senior Kylie Monday mustered six digs and classmayte Haelynn Bischoff contributed six kills.

The host Bluffton volleyball team swept local non-league foe North Baltimore in three sets Monday night, September 13.

The Pirate girls improved to 6-2 with the 25-9, 25-17, 25-19 win, while NB dropped to 4-5 with the defeat.

Senior middle hitter Kylie Stackhouse topped the Pirates with 10 kills and two blocks.

Bluffton senior setter Skyler Scoles doled out 21 assists, made one block and served five aces.

Senior Sophie Bricker hustled up 11 digs, while classmate Kylie Monday came up with with three digs and contributed six kills.

The visiting Bluffton girls soccer team defeated Delphos Jefferson 4-1 in Northwest Conference action Monday night, September 13.

Reagan Mittendorf netted three goals and assisted on the other Lady Pirate score to carry the Bluffton offense.

The Pirate girl kickers improved their record to 5-2-1 overall and 3-0 in the NWC after the league win. DJ fell to 1-4-3 and 0-2-1 in NWC play with the defeat.

The Bluffton University men's soccer team scored early and often in a 5-0 defeat of Ohio Christian on a hot Monday, Sept. 13, 2021. It marked the second straight five-goal performance for the men at the Sears Complex as Bluffton moved to 2-1 on the season following home victories over Emory & Henry and OCU.

The Bluffton University women's golf team was just five strokes off its school record 346 from Saturday en route to a 5th place finish at the HCAC Preview on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021. The 351 on day two added up to a record-shattering 697 for the 36-hole tournament. The 697 was 16 strokes better than the 713 shot at UNOH in 2019.

The Bluffton University volleyball team lost a couple of tight matches to Fredonia and John Carroll on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021. The Beavers fell to 3-6 after going 1-3 at the Behrend Invitational.

Freshman Chloei Barnett (Wapakoneta) continued her impressive start to the season with 13 kills and eight digs in Bluffton's five-set loss to Fredonia. Cassidy Posey (Paulding) and Alysha Like (McComb) followed with nine and eight putaways, respectively.
