On May 21 and 22, the Bluffton Soccer Club hosted the Kohl's American Cup soccer tournament on the Bluffton University campus.
In the 10-team U12 coed group, Bluffton's teams-the United, Crew, and Fire+Revolution-swept the top three spots, finishing (respectively) first, second, and third.
The Riverdale Force won the U12 girls' division, while the Arlington Arsenal won the U15 division. Sportsmanship awards went to the Riverdale Storm (U12C), Riverdale Galaxy (U12G), and Bluffton Fusion (U15).
Just when you thought basketball was over here comes the Bluffton High School boys' alumni basketball tournament. The tourney features six teams with all games on Saturday, June 4, according to Todd Boblitt, BHS varsity coach.

Games are played in the middle school and high school gym. Admission is $2 for the day and children are admitted free.
What a week for Pirate sports! The BHS boys' track team finished second and the girls third in the Division III regional track meet in Tiffin on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Cinderella BHS girls' softball team competed in its first-ever trip to the Division IV softball regionals, losing to an undefeated Felicity-Franklin 8 to 0 at Tipp City.
Due to weather conditions, Bluffton High School girls' softball regional game has been moved to Friday at 5 p.m., according to Greg Denecker, Bluffton superintendent.
A fourth place finish at the District III regional track meet enables several Pirates to advance to this week's regional meet at Tiffin. Bluffton finished fourth with 63.5 points behind Liberty Benton, 168; Patrick Henry, 166; and McComb, 70.
The regional meet takes place on Wednesday, May 25, and Friday, May 27.
