The Pandora United Methodist Church will host a free community meal on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington St., Pandora.
The meal this month is provided by the Morning Glory Group. The menu will be beef stew, roll, applesauce, cookies and beverage.
Bluffton Trinity United Methodist Church, 2202 SR 103, will hold its fifth annual winter coat and apparel giveaway this fall.
Any business or organization wanting to participate is invited to do so.
Ria Reed said, "If you are interested in collecting any coats, gloves and scarves for all ages and genders, please let us know and we will supply and maintain the collection box at the desired location.

The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District.
The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four. In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21.
Boxes will be available to be picked up on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church located at 502 East Main Street, Pandora.
St. John's United Church of Christ has several activities taking place in October. The church newsletter "Seredipity" is now available for Icon viewers.

October's free community meals are set at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center and Bluffton Area Ministerial Association.
First United Methodist Church is host to the Thursday, Oct. 3 meal. English Lutheran Church is host to the Thursday, Oct. 17 meal. The meals, open to the public, are free. An monetary donation given goes to the Bluffton Community Assistance Program's food pantry.
Meals are served at 6 p.m. at the Senior Center, 132 N. Main St., Bluffton
PrimeTimers will meet at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 1, at St. John Mennonite Church, 15988, Road 4, Pandora.
Chuck Sommers, saxophone player will perform a blend of Christian and Big Band music.
A meal will be provided including meat loaf, white chicken chili, roasted red potatoes, green beans and peach crisp. Donations toward the cost of the meal are accepted.
PrimeTimers, a non-denominational monthly fellowship event sponsored by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio and hosted by St. John Mennonite, is for area persons 55 and up.
