Pauline (Scheib) Dreitzler, age 82, died at 9:33 a.m. on September 16, 2024, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Polly was born on November 22, 1941, in Maryland, to Robert Charles and Marion (Way) Scheib who preceded her in death.  

Polly graduated from Piqua High School, and moved to New York City, where she spent ten years studying voice and sacred classical music, while serving as a nanny to a wonderful family.

The Allen County Engineer's Office has announced that Hillville Rd. between Bentley and Tom Fett Roads, will be closed on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for asphalt paving.

Emergency vehicles will have access.

In 2024, David Yost, Ohio’s Attorney General, released statistics about fentanyl (a synthetic opioid) and overdose deaths in Ohio. In the United States as of 2023, there were over 70,000 fentanyl-related overdose deaths with 3,579 of those in Ohio.
