New Leaf Garden Center, Ada, offers fairy garden workshops, this month, according to Laurie Laird.
Two are planned in Ada. They are Saturday, June 29, at 10 a.m. and again 1 p.m. at the Ada New Leaf, 0395 State Route 235.
“Bring your own pot or container or purchase one of ours,” said Laird. “We provide soil. Purchase whatever plants and accessories you wish. Adults and children are welcome. We ask that children be accompanied by an adult.”
Space is limited and persons interested in attending should call New Leaf to reserve a spot in one of the workshops.
Bluffton Public Library is hosting a craft session for teens and adults to create your own galaxy t-shirt, on Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. in the lower level parking lot. Participants will need to bring a black or navy cotton shirt.
Using bleach and paint, a librarian will help you create your own unique galaxy tee.
Bluffton Baptist Church holds its Vacation Bible School next week, Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21 from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.
This year's theme "In the Wild" looks at amazing encounters with Jesus. This five-day program will be packed with songs, fun, games and bible stories. This VBS program is for youth ages four through sixth grade.

Northwest Physical Therapy, located inside Bluffton Family Recreation, 215 Snider Road, has a clinician on staff who is now certified in Astym treatment, a new therapy developed to target the cause of the pain rather than just the symptoms, according to Dan Settlage.
"Astym treatment is unmatched in its ability to resolve tendinopathies, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, Achilles and patellar tendonitis, scar tissue problems, and other soft tissue dysfunctions,” said Settlage.
Bluffton Family Recreation’s summer camp is underway.
The camp is designed for youth to join for a week at a time or longer. Registration is always due by the Friday before the next camp week session.
The next weekly session, Monday to Friday, June 17 to 21, has as its theme “Young Scientist.”
Campers will conduct their own science experiments. They will learn how to make slime, rock candy, perform egg experiments and conduct experiments with a chemist.
