Everything is happening downtown Bluffton on Saturday. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce's arts and crafts festival fills Main Street from Elm to Franklin with lots of activities. Here's a map showing where to find the many attractions.

Habitat for Humanity's ReStore will hold a "fill the truck" event from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 11, in the parking lot between Bluffton High School and First Mennonite Church.

Volunteers will accept good, new and used cabinets, sinks, plumbing, building supplies, windows, doors, appliances, office supplies, furniture, electrical, tools, toys and similar items.

(No mattresses, box springs, clothing or books, please.)

Items collected will be sold at ReStore, 550 W. Elm St., Lima.

Bridge Home Health & Hospice, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System, is offering a “Sprouting Hope” grief support program that allows children ages 6 to 12 to come together with their peers and participate in activities that will help them express their feelings, create lasting memories of their loved ones and have fun. 

This event will take place on Thursday, May 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Marathon Auditorium at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

Part of the ‘Living Through Loss’ Series at Blanchard Valley Hospital

The final presentation of the “Living through Loss” series will be held on Monday, May 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and titled “Reinvesting in Life: Discussing Growth, Reconciliation and Renewal.” This presentation will take place in the Marathon Auditorium at Blanchard Valley Hospital located at 1900 South Main Street in Findlay.

More than 200 undergrads and grad students particiipate in 119th commencement

Bluffton University graduates encouraged to determine ‘Who am I?’

The achievements of more than 200 undergraduate and graduate students were celebrated on Sunday, May 5, during Bluffton University’s 119th Commencement ceremony.

Nearly 3,000 faculty, family members and friends filled Sommer Center to witness the conferring of diplomas by President Jane Wood during her first Commencement at Bluffton.
