Due to construction on West Elm Street, the annual Mennonite Memorial Home Easter egg hunt will move to the Bluffton University campus.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, starting promptly at 10 a.m. The location on campus is the practice soccer field, near the tennis courts. Access is off of Rosenberger Drive. These is no access from West Elm Street.
This year’s Easter egg hunt will feature more than 3,000 eggs filled with candy by Mennonite Memorial Home elders. Participants can also register for the drawing for four Easter baskets.

Dr. Jason Pinkney, of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, invites the public to "The Galaxies of Spring" program on Friday, April 5 from 9-11 p.m. at the ONU Observatory.
Galaxies are a swirling collection of stars, gas, dust, and dark matter. They are generally difficult to see with telescopes because they are so far away and faint. During this time of the year, however, the closest concentrations of galaxies are positioned high in the sky by midnight.
The Bluffton University baseballl team split a pair of 7-6 decisions with rival Defiance College in the opening HCAC series for both teams on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Bluffton moved to 10-10 and 1-1 in the Heartland Conference, while Defiance stands 10-6-1 with a similar 1-1 mark in the HCAC.
An Elisha Tressler (Bryan) RBI single in the second followed by a Parker Reynolds (Avon) run-scoring base knock in the third were sandwiched around three Defiance tallies as the Yellow Jackets led 3-2 heading to the fourth inning.
Because of the Elm Street construction, Mennonite Memorial Home is moving the Saturday, April 13, Easter Egg Hunt to the Bluffton University practice soccer field.
Bluffton University’s upcoming Spiritual Life Week will feature Matthew Vohwinkel, director of student ministries at Harbour Shores Church, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April, 9 in Yoder Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
