The Board of Trustees of Bluffton Richland Library Foundation will hold an annual organizational meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 7 p.m.  The purpose of the meeting is to elect officers and set the 2019 meeting schedule.

Jim Fultz, assistant professor of art at Bluffton University, will present the Colloquium, “An Exploration of Loss, Touch and Memory in the Landscape,” at 4 p.m. on Jan. 11 in Stutzman Lecture Hall.

(BLUFFTON) - The Lady Pirates improved to 8-3 at the halfway point of the regular season with a thorough thrashing of Upper Scioto Valley by a 74-31 score.  The Rams fell to 1-9 with the loss.

The Lady Pirates enter the second half of the season with an unblemished conference record at 3-0 and their next home game will be January 17 when they host Spencerville, a squad that knocked off the Pirates last season by a 55-50 count.

The Bluffton University women's basketball team fell 57-51 at Mount St. Joseph in the first game of 2019 on Wednesday, Jan. 2. The loss dropped the Beavers to 4-8 on the season (2-3 HCAC), while MSJ improved to 8-4 (3-2 HCAC).
