(KALIDA) - The boys soccer team picked up a much needed win at Kalida Tuesday evening by a 3-0 count.  As tournament time nears, the Pirates are looking to build momentum for the postseason.  With a tie and a draw in their most recent matches, Bluffton had not won a match since September 27.

(DELPHOS) - Just days after the football team shutout Delphos on their home turf, the Pirate volleyball team followed suit by picking up a 3-0 victory!  Bluffton won 25-15, 25-17, 25-22 as they improved to 4-16 on the season and a 2-6 mark in league play.

Athletic concussions - Part 2

In “Athletic Concussions - Part 1,” I discussed how recent research has guided the immediate assessment and management of concussions in sports. With this article, I will continue this topic by discussing how research has affected the subsequent evaluation and treatment of concussions.

Nothing comes close to riding the Bluffton 1923 Studebaker fire truck if you are a Bluffton elementary student. Raise your hand if you've ever stood in the position of these first graders. We see lots of hands. Riding this truck is almost a requirement for graduation from Bluffton High School. This is Fire Prevention Week and the Bluffton fire department is cruising town in a 95-year-old Bluffton classic. Nothing ever changes here.
