May 4 – Mateo Douglas Rodriguez, son of Danielle Carpenter and Sebastian Rodriguez, Belmore

May 6 – Emma Rose, daughter of Whitney and Abigail, Bluffton

May 7 – Lincoln James, son of Kyle and Kristin, Gilboa

May 10 – Rebekah Margaret, daughter of Steve and Jaqueline, Sydney

May 10 – Hollie Lee Emery, daughter of Corey and Kayla Emery, Pandora

Bluffton in Bloom takes a closer look at our community resources

Summer reading program launch on June 4

There are no excuses not to read this summer. Take it from the Bluffton Public Library. Here's what the library has in store for patrons this summer:

To kick off the 2018 “Libraries Rock” Summer Program, the Library Fun Day begins at noon on Monday, June 4, with an Indoor Picnic (Bring your own brown bag lunch).

There's still time to take advantage of The Dough Hook's grillin' and chillin' sale.

Hamburger patties and bulk ground chuck (all Hereford) is on sale at $3.99 per pound at The Dough Hook, 117 N. Main St., Bluffton.

Marlena Ballinger said she will still take phone orders until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 1.
