Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn Company will donate 100% of sales at its Bluffton location to the Bluffton Public Library during Shirley’s Birthday Celebration on June 16.
The day’s activities will include buy-one-get-one specials, a 5K run, a family street carnival, ice cream sundaes, and a free children’s coloring contest.
The annual celebration will be held on Saturday, June 16 at the original Shirley’s location at 117 S. Main St. in downtown Bluffton.
Bluffton council will hold a joint committee meeting for personnel and finance, according to Laura Ewing, village fiscal officer. The meeting is at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 31, in the third floor of the town hall.
The Bluffton town hall concert series announces two performances, according to Jeff Yoder. Both performances are free and open to the public.

Bluffton’s NNO is a positive aspect for the community
The 18-month-old German Shepherd is from Von der haus Gill German Shepherds Inc. of Wapakoneta, and is getting to know the community by making appearances in the schools.
