The Pirate boys tennis team won first singles and first doubles matches but fell to Tiffin Calvert 3-2 Friday afternoon at Harmon Courts.  

1st Singles : Justin Haggard defeated Will Klepper 6-0, 6-0

2nd Singles : Drew Wilson lost to Conner Kiwat 1-6, 6-1, 6-1

3rd Singles : Kory Strahm lost to Josh Recker 6-2, 6-0

1st Doubles : Mack Burner & Jordan Siefer defeated Alec Zimmerman & Xavier Ardner 6-4, 0-6, 6-4

The Lady Pirate softball team is warming up just like the weather.  Bluffton defeated perennial power Lima Bath Friday evening by an 8-2 score.  

Averey Rumer had a big night with two hits, two stolen bases and three runs.  Mara Minnig had two hits of her own with an RBI.  Libby Schaadt and Katie Prater both belted doubles.  Kayla White, Bailey Edwards and Laykin Garmatter pounded out hits as well.

R COOP is open this weekend, according to Jane Shaw. This weekend's hours are Friday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Shaw says, "We have great items to put in and outside your home to enjoy. There's a variety of succulent gardens, farmstead and vintage items.
