The Departments of Communication and Media Studies and Theatre Arts of Ohio Northern University will host a listening party for the premiere of ONU's first radio production, The Overcoat.
The listening party will occur on Thursday, May 3 at 4:30 p.m. at the Freed Center. The airing will be followed by a question and answer session with members of the cast and production staff.
Admission is free and open to the public.

In a special meeting on Monday (April 30), Bluffton council voted 6-0 to terminate the employment of its village administrator, Jack Huber. He held the position since June of 2017.
The following notification to Mr. Huber explains council's decision:
This is to advise that you are hereby terminated from your employment with the Village of Bluffton, Ohio, on this date and your time off with pay is terminated on this date also.

Five youth will be confirmed in the Christian faith on Sunday, May 6, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera, during the 10:30 a.m. service.
The confirmands are Millie Alge, Ethan Beach, Kendyll Gurney, Octavia Hassan and Ayden Kretz.
A regular service will be held at 8 a.m. Beginning at 9:20 a.m., the confirmands will give a review of Bible teachings in a question and answer format. All are welcome to attend and the church is handicapped accessible.
