Hopes to study music education after high school

Amanda Speicher, a Bluffton High School junior, is the March BHS student of the month.

She is in the high school orchestra, symphonic choir, Latin Club, Lima Area Youth Orchestra, and is a member and captain of the Bluffton High School flag corp. She volunteers as an aide in the second grade classroom, and also teaches violin and swimming lessons.

She received an academic award for "Student of the Year" in Latin I and Biology.

Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, at Mustard Sheed Chop, 562 N. Main St., which has recently reopened, according to Paula Scott of the chamber.

Located in the former Akron, Canton and Youngstown Railroad depot, the Mustard Seed Café opened five years ago as a breakfast and lunch establishment.

Purchased in 2015 by Moor, executive chef, the café launched dinner and brunch menus. Recently, it closed for renovations and creation of a new concept and menu.

The following births were reported at Bluffton Hospital from March 31 to April 30.

(FINDLAY) - The boys track team took fifth place and girls 10th at the Liberty Benton Pat Wagner Memorial Invitational. 

Here's the Bluffton High School student senate from the 1930-31 school year. At this time, the senate had representatives from various school organizations.

The names of the members are above the photo, however, the names are not in the order that the students are sitting.

Who owns this black Mazda parked at the ONU Sports Center? Perhaps somebody who works at Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon.
