Blanchard Valley Hospital (BVH) has once again been named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals by IBM Watson HealthTM. This is the sixth time the organization has been recognized with this honor. BVHS received this distinction in 2005, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017 and now in 2018.

Four Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) projects will impact traffic patterns in Bluffton over the next four years.
Jack Huber, village administrator, shared the projects with Bluffton council members on Monday.
The most significant is slated for 2021. It is the projected complete removal of the twin overpasses on Interstate 75 at Exit 142. The bridges are 0.3 miles north of Exit 142 at State Route 103.
The project involves removal of the bridges and reconstruction of the pavement over the abandoned railroad.

Riley View Apartments, 115 E. College Ave., is under new ownership as of the first of the year.
Belmont Properties, Cadiz, Ohio, a for-profit organization, has taken over the ownership of the apartments from the Bluffton Housing Corp., which operated them as a non-profit since its inception in 1974.
