Regisration now underway - deadline to sign-up is Jan. 31

Bluffton Youth Soccer is thinking about spring.

Registration for spring 2018 is now available on line. Registrations are due Wednesday, Jan. 31, according to Ron Koontz.

The registration fee is $50, with completed details listed on the Bluffton Youth Soccer website. CLICK HERE to access the registration form or go to:www.blufftonsoccer.com

Including an average of two plastic surgeries each week

Albert Loayza, RN, surgical first assistant at Bluffton Hospital, puts it this way: “Our hospital is small, but our care is big.”

Last year that “small” Bluffton Hospital surgical department handled 4,500 procedures, a number that may surprise most Icon viewers.

Bluffton’s surgical specialties include general, obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN), facial plastic, pediatric, urology, gastro-intestinal and ear, nose and throat surgery.

Bluffton High School sophomores will visit Apollo Career Center's 411Blast, Friday, Jan. 26.

Approximately 700 sophomores in Apollo Career Center’s 11-member district will also participate.
 
This day exposes students to possibilities and paths available for their career and/or college success. Students choose two programs of interest and then spend one-half day visiting those labs, meeting the instructors and participating in fun, interactive demos and activities.

Features work from Goshen College art professors >

An exhibit featuring the work of art professors from Goshen College will be featured in Bluffton University’s Grace Albrecht Gallery, located in the Sauder Visual Arts Center. Opening Feb. 1, the exhibit is free and open to the public through Feb. 23.
