Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 20-21; January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month

Ebenezer Mennonite Church hosts a Human Trafficking Awareness Seminar Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 20-21 at the church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road, Bluffton.

The seminar is part of the congregation's January Human Trafficking Awareness Month awareness.

Saturday, Jan. 20, 2 to 7:30 p.m.
• Connie Anderson, director of Justice Ministries for InterVarsity Fellowship, presents Human Trafficking 101. It takes place in Ebenezer Fellowship Hall and a free pizza supper is included.

7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16, in town hall

Transition Bluffton will host a meeting at the Bluffton town hall at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Randy Augsburger will be speaking on Emergency Preparedness. Augsburger previously spoke at Bluffton Public Library for September’s Emergency Preparedness Month last year. 

Augsburger will be covering how to take practical steps to prepare your family for emergencies, assess your own preparedness, and deal with major and minor disasters that could reasonably happen in northwest Ohio.
