FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's basketball team continued its impressive start with a 68-50 victory at Franklin College on Saturday, Dec. 16. The Beavers improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the Heartland Conference with all three of those HCAC wins on the road. Franklin fell to 2-4 and 2-2 in the conference.
FRANKLIN, Ind. - It took until the final buzzer in overtime, but the Bluffton University men walked away victorious, 86-83, capping off a sweep of the Grizzlies on Saturday, Dec. 16. Bluffton improved to 3-5 overall and 2-2 in the Heartland Conference, while Franklin fell to 2-7 and 1-3 in the HCAC.
Bluffton elementary students collected $2,495 and 78 cents over a three-week period for its Adopt-A-Family this holiday. Students took the money to the bank on Friday. Read the story below for all the details.
The American Red Cross North Central Ohio Chapter responded to a fire on Hardin County Road 205 in Forest on Wednesday evening.
The Red Cross provided assistance to the family of five for their immediate needs, such as food, clothing and personal hygiene items.
“We’re deeply saddened for those who were impacted by this fire,” said Todd James, Executive Director, North Central Ohio Chapter. “As we continue to help them, we urge everyone to take steps to minimize the risk of a fire occurring in their home.”
