Bluffton University will host an author program for Kevin Williams, director of residence life, at 4 p.m. on Nov. 9 in the Musselman Library Reading Room. Williams contributed a chapter to the book, “Diversity Matters: Race, Ethnicity and the Future of Christian Higher Education,” called “Potholes on the Professional Journey of a Developing Leader.”
Williams joined the Bluffton University staff earlier this year after serving as assistant director of residence life at Messiah College. He also spent seven years working as an admissions counselor for Malone College.
Bluffton University will host a Thursdays at Yoder concert featuring music faculty members Dr. Andrew Liebermann and Stephanie Titus at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, in Yoder Recital Hall.
During the concert, the Liebermann-Titus Duo will introduce 20th and 21st century compositions for piano and saxophone that push the boundaries of what one traditionally expects to hear from these instruments. Most of the works presented are by living composers and some are rarely played due to their extreme difficulty.
FROM ADA ICON - A Ladies Luncheon will be held at ONU on Saturday, Nov. 11. The Luncheon is free, reservations are not required. Ten consultants, representing various companies with clothing and other merchandise, will be on hand from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
