Bluffton unable to pull off upset against undefeated Lima Central Catholic, fall to .500 By Bryan Kress
Being down only 6-3 after the 1st quarter at home, maybe Bluffton could pull off the monumental upset with a freshman at quarterback.
This was not to be the case as the Bluffton offense, led by freshman Robbie Stratton in his 3rd start, could not score a point for the rest of the game. However, LCC could score more points, 33 more points in fact ending the night 39-3.
The colors of fall are evident in Bluffton this month as yellows and oranges replace green on trees. Here's a view of Riley Creek just off Bentley Road.
It seems the latest trend in hair adornments has an avian bent, as evidenced by the feather extensions sported by women of all ages. The feathers can be found in a wide array of colors - from simple and natural shades of brown to bright purples, greens, yellows, and reds.
Feather extensions are not really new, and like many style trends, can be traced back to earlier eras. In fact, adorning one's head with feathers harkens as far back as ancient Egypt and as recently as the hippie era of the 60s and 70s.
