What does it take to be a university football trainer? Bluffton Icon intern Jordan Howe asked that question to Bluffton University student trainer, Kriste Corney.
Corney of Bucyrus, gives a perspective on what it is like to be a football trainer for Bluffton University. She talks about hydration, time constraints, and how she chose the job.

"I'm not sure how often everyone keeps up on their reality TV, but, we actually had some contestants from around the Allen and Auglaize County Area compete on Shedding for the Wedding (featured on the CW Network).
Bluffton Public Library will celebrate Family History Month by holding a genealogy research program on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 2-4 p.m.
The workshop will offer instructions on using several online web-based genealogy resources, including Ancestry Library edition, Heritage Quest, Ohio Memory and the Hayes Obituary Index. Participants will also be given time to conduct their own research with the assistance of library staff member Justin Crawfis.

Ruth L. Ayers, 92, died, Sept. 25, 2011 at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.
She was born May 16, 1919 on the family farm near Pandora, to Ezra and Etta Davidson Amstutz. She married Wilbur Ayers in 1945 and he died in 1999.
She is survived by their children, Keith (Rebecca) Ayers of Houston, Texas, Marilyn (Tom) Beerman of Worthington, Ohio and John (Cheryl) Ayers of E. Greenwich, R.I.
