Following suite with the Bluffton school administrators and Bluffton certified staff, the Bluffton school non-certified employees agreed to a wage free for 2011-12.

The action took place at the June 23 school board meeting.

The non-certified staff was the final negotiating group with the school board this year. Several other significant pieces of board action took place.

Monday, June 27, is Ladies' Day on the Bluffton sesquicentennial schedule.

The following events are planned in the third floor of the town hall with the presenter and time provided:

Jack Weyer

Jack L. Weyer, 80, of Bluffton died at 7:41 a.m., Sunday, June 26, at Bluffton Hospital. He was born April 14, 1931 in Vaughnsville, Ohio to Lewis and Bessie (Briggs) Weyer. On June 22, 1950 he married Lillian Zimmerman and she died April 17, 2011.

He had worked at Ex-Cello which later became Pure Pak where he retired. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton. He was a member of the American Legion Post 382, Bluffton, VFW Post, Ada and Loyal Order of Moose, Findlay.
