COVID 19: safety in numbers

As vaccination rates are increasing, the number of cases in Ohio is decreasing for a second straight week

As vaccination rates are increasing, the number of cases in Ohio is decreasing for a second straight week.

Ohio reports that 32.8% of the population is vaccinated, which is slightly higher than the overall country at 31.5%. These numbers are far below the estimated herd immunity requirement to successfully reduce COVID-19 infections and exposures.

Sielschott named to Small Business Advisory Council

Appointed by Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp

Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp today appointed Robert E. Sielschott of Lima to the state’s Small Business Advisory Council.

Sielschott is a partner is Sielschott, Walsh, Keifer and Regula and Sherer, CPA, with an office on Bluffton's Main Street.

The council is a nine-member panel that advises on government rules and regulations and helps identify those that place unnecessary burdens on Ohio’s job creators.

Allison Burghaze is the April BHS student of the month

She hopes to major in special education/early childhood education

Allison Burghaze is the April Bluffton High School student of the month.

She is active in several organizations at Bluffton HS including SADD Club, Drama Club, Spanish Club, Art Club, FCCLA and orchestra.

She was a member of the golf team as a sophomore, junior and senior. She received the textile and design award and has also received academic, choir and orchestra letters.
