Tickets are now on sale for the Bluffton High School April 8, 9, 10 production of Virgil's Wedding, which will be performed on the Middle School stage.

Celebrate the arrival of spring in downtown Bluffton with a scavenger hunt on Saturday, March 19. Hop around to Book ReViews, Ten Thousand Villages, and The Et. Cetera Shop between 10:00 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Answer one question and receive a paper punch at each store and enter to win the Grand Prize. The winner will be drawn Monday, March 21.

This weekend Blufftonite Trevor Bassitt is competing in the Men's 400 meters in the World Athletics Indoor Championships Belgrade 22. The Bluffton Athletic Boosters Facebook page has tipped us off that he is advancing to the semifinals.

Registration for the 2022-2023 Kindergarten classes in the Cory-Rawson Local School District can be done online this year at www.cory-rawson.org.

It was a fine day for an impromptu, walking St. Patrick's Day survey in downtown Bluffton. The Icon walked from College to Elm, asking all and sundry to share their level of enthusiasm for the holiday.

2 - Needed to be reminded what day it was.

22 - Were wearing green, including one with a green pen in their pocket.

7 - Were planning to celebrate at a gathering or by going out.

12 - Expected to eat or drink something green. The jello cake to be served at the Senior Center dinner added greatly to this count.

14 - Said they were Irish.
