Bronchiolitis is one of the most common respiratory illnesses among young children. It's caused by a viral infection that affects the tiny airways in the lung called the bronchioles. As these airways become inflamed, they swell and fill with mucus which can make breathing difficult. Bronchiolitis is not the same as bronchitis which is an infection of the larger airway that typically causes health issues in adults.
Jammin' at the Library returns the the Bluffton Public Library at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 10 and continues on Monday, January 24.
The song-circle style jam session developed a loyal band of particpants in pre-COVID years. Several guitar players are regulars, but vocalists, box drum, ukelele, piano, harmonica, and bass players have also been seen and heard at the sessions. All are invited to join in or to listen in.

The three-point bombing Bluffton High School girls basketball team built an 11-point halftime lead and held on to upset state-ranked Crestview 61-51 in a home Northwest Conference girls basketball battle Thursday night.
Ranked 10th in the state, the Knight girls trailed the hosts 20-16 after a high-scoring first period. Senior guard Sami Scoles poured in 12 points on four triples in the opening stanza to shoot Bluffton into the lead.
