The Icon wants to help families get to holiday worship services on time with a schedule including Christmas Eve, Christmas, and and New Year's services in the Bluffton area.

Bluffton High School has announced that the 2022-2023 College Credit Plus (CCP) meeting will be held virtually from 7-8 p.m. on December 15 in a recorded YouTube session. Students considering enrolling in CCP are required to participate in the meeting.

The Icon decided to take a closer look at the monumental stone slab installed on Bentley Rd. by the Bluffton Stone Co. It's believed to be the largest single piece ever harvested from the quarry.

The Bluffton University men's basketball team battled HCAC heavyweight Hanover on Saturday, Dec. 4, dropping a 75-64 decision to the Panthers. Bluffton slipped to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the Heartland Conference, while Hanover stays perfect at 5-0 and 2-0 in the HCAC.

Sharleen A. Olson, 84, of Bluffton passed away December 4, 2021 at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.  Arrangements are pending at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

Bluffton lost 51-29 to Liberty-Benton Saturday night, December 4, in a non-league home game.

The cold-shooting Pirates fell behind 18-6 early and were down 26-13 at halftime. L-B led 39-22 after three periods and cruised to the 22-point win.

Trenton Donley was the lone Pirate in double figures with 13 points. Marek Donaldson added seven markers.

Bluffton was unable to score more than nine points in any quarter.

Bluffton fell to 1-1 with the defeat, while L-B improved to 3-1 with the victory.

Eagle Cason Doolittle led all scorers with 21 points.
