Bluffton University Theatre will present the play “Failure: A Love Story” by Philip Dawkins from Nov. 4-7. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. November 4-6, and at 2:30 p.m. on November 7 in Ramseyer Auditorium in College Hall. Dr. Melissa Friesen, professor of theatre and communication, will direct the show.

Visiting Bluffton hung close for a while at undefeated Columbus Grove, but ultimately was shut out 31-0 by the league champions in a Northwest Conference bout Friday night, October 22, at Clymer Field.
After a scoreless first 18 minutes CG gradually pulled away after scoring two quick touchdowns, and won going away.
Bluffton fell to 5-5 overall and finished 2-5 in league play after the defeat.
CG improved to 10-0 overall and won the NWC at 7-0 with the convincing victory.
The Blanchard River Watershed Partnership (BRWP) Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Hancock Agricultural Center, 7868 County Road 140, Findlay, Ohio.
Attendees are invited to hear updates regarding water quality in the Blanchard River watershed and learn about the important work of the BRWP over the past year.

Landon Armstrong is the September Student of the Month at Bluffton High School. Landon is a junior and has a 4.000 GPA. His parents are Andy and Natalie Armstrong of Bluffton. Landon is involved in Latin Club, Math Club, Ocean Focus and National Honor Society. He is a member of the Cross Country Team, Swim Team and Track team. Last year he was a state qualifier in track.
In his spare time he likes to play disc golf, run and build computers. After graduation he would like to attend college and pursue a medical degree as a nurse practitioner.
