OTTAWA - Visiting Bluffton scored two runs in the sixth to eke out a 2-1 non-league softball win over Ottawa-Glandorf Thursday evening.
The comeback victory lifted the Pirate record to 2-1 this spring.
Bluffton hurler Libby Schaadt fired a complete game three-hitter. She struck out a dozen, walked three and allowed just one earned run in seven innings.
Schaadt shut out the hosts over the final six innings to earn the win.
It's difficult to believe, but in 60 days, or so, lots of people will be sliding down that large blue structure in the background of this construction scene at the Buckeye. If your eyes can't focus correctly it is the circular slide at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool.
