The menu is fried chicken, parlsey potatoes, California blend vegetables, dinner roll, assorted cupcakes, and beverage. The meal is provided by the Hilty Memorial Home.
Bluffton University’s junior nutrition students will host the 2019 Lunch and Learn series from Feb. 13 to April 17 on the first floor of Berky Hall. Jan Romes, a writer of modern romance novels, has a Saturday, Feb. 9, book signing at Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., Bluffton, according to Dr. Christina Walton, store manager.
The signing with Romes from Ft. Jennings, is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It highlights her current novel, “Tucked Away,” described this way: “With the mafia hot on her heels, a new identity might not be enough!”
The Bluffton Public Library has received a gift of 100 new children’s books, ranging from pre-kindergarten through early readers, according to Jessica Hermiller, library director.
These books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City, interested in fostering early reading, a love of books, and encouraging parents and children to read together.
