Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a business after hours and Blaze of Lights fundraiser on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 14, at The Mason Jar at Bluffton Golf Club, 8575 N. Dixie Highway, according to Paula Scott, chamber CEO.
Casual chamber member networking will be followed by a team trivia contest.
• 5-7 p.m. Business After Hours casual networking (open to all chamber members/guests and trivia participants)
• 7-9 p.m. Team Trivia Competition
The evening is sponsored by Bluffton Golf Club and Luke’s Bar and Grill.
St. John's United Church of Christ, 223 W. College Ave., Bluffton, will hold a beef and noodle dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, at the church.
Persons may dine in or take out. The menu includes homemade noodles, beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple sauce, roll, assorted pies, beverage.
Senior Bethany Martini (Pickerington North) led Bluffton to a 2-1 mark last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week on offense.
Martini delivered a career-high tying 28 kills on Wednesday in a win over Mount St. Joseph. The final kill was number 1,000 for her career! The senior outside hitter totaled 60 kills (5.00 per set) and 26 digs for a .278 hitting percentage. She followed MSJ with another powerful performance on Saturday when her 24 spikes helped Bluffton knock Rose-Hulman from its perch atop the HCAC!

(BLUFFTON) - After taking the first set against Patrick Henry, the visiting Patriots won the remaining three games to take the volleyball match 3-1 Monday evening.
Bluffton won the opening game 25-18 and then lost a heartbreaker at 26-24 in the second. PH won the third and fourth by 25-20 and 25-18 scores respectively.

(BLUFFTON) - Erin Hotmire won first singles by a 6-0, 6-0 count and Raychel Avila & Olivia Barnes swept first doubles while Caity Zimmerman & Emma Klinger swept their second doubles match as the Bluffton girls tennis team routed Lima Senior Tuesday evening.
The second and third singles matches were forfeited by the Spartans.
