The Bluffton University football team gave HCAC-heavyweight Franklin College all it could handle in a 28-24 loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018. Franklin improved to 8-1 overall with a perfect 7-0 mark in the Heartland Conference, while Bluffton slipped to 2-7 and 2-5 in the HCAC.
Mark Suderman of Bluffton, will talk about Habitat for Humanity at the Lima Rotary Club. The talk is at noon, Monday, Nov. 12. The club meets in the Veterans Civic Center, Lima.
Suderman is volunteer coordinator for the Lima office, 550 W. Elm St.

Performances are Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9 and 10, in the Bluffton Middle School. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the curtain rises at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students.
Alice Ruth Pannabecker Ramseyer died Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. She was born in Kai Chow, China, on Sept. 27, 1929, to Mennonite missionaries S. F. “Floyd” and Sylvia (Tschantz) Pannabecker.
She joined two brothers in the family, Dick Pannabecker (long-time Bluffton resident) and Robert Pannabecker. The family served on the Kai Chow mission with the family of Floyd's identical twin Lloyd.
