William H. McKibben, 92, died July 25, 2018, at Bluffton Hospital. Bill was born Feb. 15, 1926, in Continental, Ohio, to the late Wilbert and Zella (Prowant) McKibben. On June 26, 1948, he married Faye Buckmaster McKibben and she survives.

Bluffton council approved a bid from Hohenbrink Excavating, Findlay, to complete the West Elm Street improvement project, phase 1. Action was Monday.
Hohenbrink’s bid of $888,009 was the lowest responsible of six bidders, according to Jesse Blackburn, village administration, who was very pleased with the low bid. The bids ranged as high at $1.1 million. Bid opening was July 19.

Seth Combs of Bluffton has been promoted to Vice President Treasury Managment at Citizens National Bank, according to Michael Romey.
In this position, he is responsible for analyzing current and potential accounts for cash management improvements and recommending electronic bank products to increase efficiency for business customers.
