The idea of dining with God becomes a reality on Thursday, April 26, at Bystillwaters Bistro, 112 Vine St.
Heather Cox, Bistro owner, plans an open house with demonstrations and food sampling on that theme.
“On April 26, we will offer all authentic food typical of what Jesus may have eaten in the first century,” she said.
Cox asks that persons interested in attending should RSVP to 567-242-2284, or stop in the Bistro. Sample servings take place from 6 to 8 p.m. with a food demonstration at 6:30 p.m.
Pandora Missionary Church, 300 Rocket Ridge Way, Pandora, will hold a Cinco de Mayo “who dunit mystery dinner.”
The dinner is at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 5, at the church. The dinner theme centers on the idea that the 10 commandments are missing and some needs to solve the mystery.
The dinner is open to persons 18 and older – no childcare will be provided. The meal includes a taco bar.
Banito Rodriguez is the featured speaker. Dress is casual. Seating is reserved and donations are accepted at the door.
The Blanchard River Watershed Partnership has received word that the U.S. EPA in Chicago has given their final approval to the nine element non-point source implementation strategy plan (NPS-IS Plan) written for the Tiderishi Creek watershed in Hancock County, according to Phil Martin, watershed coordinator.
The EPA requires that there be an approved NPS-IS Plan written for each 12-digit HUC watershed before that watershed can receive federal funding. There are 30 HUC-12 watersheds in the Blanchard River Watershed.
ArtSpace/Lima, 65-67 Town Square, Lima, will host an opening reception for Spring Show 2018 on Friday, April 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public, according to Bill Sullivan, director.
Spring Show 2018 is the 63rd edition of ArtSpace’s signature exhibit. Entries are accepted from within a 100-mile radius of Lima in the following categories: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, digital art and mixed media.
