The Icon spotted this plate in the Bluffton University student parking lot on Bentley Road. It's on a blue Toyota Corolla with lots of interesting bumper stickers. "Read Banned Books," as an example.
The library is throwing a party and the dress code is polka-dots.
That's a joke, but it offers a hint at the type of party: a polka party.
Elaine Wehri brings her accordion to the Bluffton Public LIbrary, 154 S. Main St., on the first day of spring at 6 p.m., Monday, March 20. The party is in the lower level of the library.
In partnership with the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, the evening includes more than just polka dancing. There's also storytime, games and refreshment involved.
The success of the Augsburger Road pathway, separating vehicle traffic from pedestrians and bikers, keeps the momentum going.
After completing the pathway from Bentley to Maple Crest and Riverbend, the Bluffton pathway board turns its attention on Bentley Road, between Augburger-Elm and Grove Street.
