Location, location, location.

Bluffton Family Recreation offers several options for keeping active in August, according to Joseph Beagle, director. Here of some of those program options:

Girl Scouts Summer Series
Aug. 8-12

Girls in grades Kindergarten through sixth may participate in a Girl Scout Summer Series held at BFR from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Aug. 12.

The series theme is “It’s Your Planet – Love It!” Activities include discovering what real scientists do, exploring wonders of science with hands-on activities and learning the scientific method.

British Soccer Camp is underway this week at Bluffton Family Recreation. Sessions started Monday and continue until Friday. Earlier this summer it was a week of Brazilian soccer. Click here for the latest BFR programs.

415 Boutique at Polished Nail and Body Salon, 415 N. Main St., Bluffton, has an end of summer sale going on.

It includes 25 percent off all shorts and capris. There's also a selection of sandals to check out.

Suter's Produce now has sweet corn picked daily, plus tomatoes, peaches and melons.
