Learn how to use positive ways to discipline your child;
Learn how to reduce the impact of media violence on your child's behavior. 

Please note: Due to the nature of this series, we ask that parents/guardians do not bring their children with them to this learning event.

For the next 20 minutes let’s focus on:
 “How to succeed in Bluffton by really trying.”

Noah Strahm watches classmate Kari Diller toss the Frisbee through the hoop. The two Bluffton Kindergarteners participated in elementary school field day at Harmon Field on May 11.

Bluffton resident Inara Brubaker was awarded an honorary degree from Ohio Northern University, Ada, during the ONU commencement on May 8.

Brubaker retired in 2002 from the UOP/AlliedSignal (now Honeywell International) Research Center. 

From 1996-2002, Brubaker was a senior research associate with UOP; from 1988 to 1996, she was project leader and research manager at AlliedSignal.

Her work was in applied research in analytical chemistry and separations, ranging from feed to effluent treatment and purification, and in materials properties and recycling.

Bluffton High School seniors and underclasses were recognized May 11 at the 36th annual high school awards program.

Awards were presented to senior receiving college scholarships, athletic awards and to students who were outstanding in individual classes.
