According to Joseph Beagle, BFR director, 215 bags of shoes were collected this year.
The shoes are now on their way to Florida. There they will be sent to persons in 25 underdeveloped countries where micro-enterprises use them for their businesses.
Beagle said that a special thanks goes to Sharon Calvelage from the Catholic Ladies Association, who assisted BFR in getting the shoes collected.
