It is Miss Theresa "Teddie" Slusser. She was a Bluffton College graduate, held a master's degree from Bowling Green and taught several history and social studies classes for seventh graders through high school students.
After her official retirement in the mid-1960s she returned as a substitute teacher. She also was the village treasurer for several terms, which was an elected postion.

The line-up for tickets starts Thursday night, Dec. 17.
According to Pete Suter of Shannon Theatre tickets will go on sale one hour prior to the show – 11 p.m. to be exact – and seating will start at 11:15 p.m. And 275 lucky fans will watch the show.
It took 10 rounds and finally came down to “hypnotic,” “obscure,” and “nationalism,” for Nicole Boyle, Bluffton sixth grader, to win this year’s middle school spelling bee.
The bee, held on Dec. 11, included 12 contestants from grades six, seven and eight. Another sixth grader, Caleb McKenzie, was runner-up.
