Paula Scott of Bluffton will offer two workshops in January titled “Improving Business Visibility Online,” hosted by Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs.
She will provide a brief overview of the workshops during Friday’s Dec. 11, chamber breakfast in the town hall.
“What happens when a visitor looks for your Bluffton business with a search engine or app?” asks Scott. “Don’t know. Or, don’t like what you find?”
The Bluffton/Pandora Swiss Community Historical Society Christmas open house, “Christmas at the Homestead,” will be on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Schumacher Homestead on Bixel Road.
The public is invited to tour the decorated 1843 house while snacking on homemade treats and listening to songs of the season.
Guests can watch food being prepared in the fireplace, hand dip a candle, play a game of checkers, shop in the gift shop and chat with staff about the history of the house and typical life in the 1840s.

Attached find a short reflection/poem in response to the mass shootings last week and Christmas.
Much good will to you as you continue to carry forth with the stimulating and challenging work of spreading words with meaning throughout the community and beyond!
